GeoWall

The GeoWall competition is a hands-on engineering challenge where teams design and build a small retaining wall out of paper and tape. It's meant to simulate real-world geotechnical engineering challenges. The goal is to construct the strongest, most cost-effective wall that keeps sand from spilling out of the box when loads are applied. Teams are given specific guidelines of box dimensions and various obstacles in the box to navigate. Judges score each team based on performance, how well the wall holds, and cost efficiency, amount of materials used. Historically, GeoWall is Cal State Fullerton's best performing technical competition at PSWS!
